Future Nature WTC is Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust’s wholly-owned Ecological Consultancy, providing a comprehensive range of professional ecological and environmental services to clients including local authorities, commercial companies, utility and infrastructure providers and homeowners.

Future Nature WTC is one of 23 Wildlife Trust Consultancies (WTCs) operating throughout the UK, and as with all of our WTC partners, the profits from our consultancy work are reinvested back into our local Wildlife Trust.

The range of biodiversity services Future Nature WTC offers includes Biodiversity Net Gain Assessments using the DEFRA Metrics, Habitat Management Plans, Biodiversity Offsets and Habitat Banking, The Wildlife Trusts’ Biodiversity Benchmark Certification for commercial organisations, and advice on Green Infrastructure and new landscape creation.

Future Nature WTC provides a wide range of ecology surveys and assessment reports, including Protected Species Surveys for bats, badgers, great crested newts and reptiles, Botanical Surveys, Bird Surveys, Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Ecological Impact Assessment, Ecological Clerk Of Works, GIS Mapping and Data Records Searches.

Have you been asked for a bat survey for your planning application or permission? Our team of experienced Ecologists provide bat surveys throughout Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and neighbouring counties.

Gardens designed with nature in mind can also be beautiful to behold and a joy to relax and spend time in. Just look at our Wilder Spaces garden that won a Gold medal, Best In Show, Best Construction and People’s Choice Award at RHS Malvern 2023!

Imagine a future where wildlife thrives once again, and our landscapes are a rich patchwork of meadow, woodlands, and hedgerows, humming with bird and insect life. A Nature Recovery Network is a joined-up system of places important for wild plants and animals, on land and at sea. Find out more about how a Nature Recovery Network can bring about this vision.
